There were no PT openings today.......

So we have to call again next Friday and maybe a therapist will have a opening. Yesterday was OT and she really did alot of core exercises.....swinging in a hammock on her belly with arms and legs extended she had to push off and grab frogs laying all over the floor and throw them in a basket......I was exhausted just watching her. She wants a list of goals from us and the pre school next week on what we think she needs help on so she can take care of them.....as far as OT she is not far behind....PT seems to be the big deal. Can U believe we are going to Disney in less then 3 weeks???? What ???? Where did the time go? Thank God our refunds made the bank last night I was stressing not having any money for the trip. Kael's teacher is giving him the " class trip " scrapbook to take with him to work on.....thats his "homework". I was scared to tell her because everyone had told me that the schools don't like you pulling them out for a week but he's only missed 3 days so far and can U believe they were all stomach bugs???? No colds for him....I guess him gettting sick so much has helped???? Sage is "scooting " all over the floor trying to get them 2, I do not allow her in the dining room/playroom because she moves so fast now......scarey !!! We have to get our Thank You cards done this weekend and hopefully hit the outlet stores Sunday to get some warm weather clothes for FL.....I have been cleaning out closets, drawers, storage for last years summer clothes and they have mostly outgrown them.....I can not wait for my Yard Sale in May and get rid of the clutter !!!!!!!!!!

Post Party

She had a wonderful time at her party Sunday, had lots of friends to play with and we think all had a good time. Of course she had/has a cold.......it would not be Maddie if she didn't. She had PT evaluation on Tuesday, come to find out she has very low muscle tone, probably born with it. They said that was why she was so chubby as a baby. She is flat footed and her leg muscles are very tight. They want her to do PT once a week but there's a waiting list so we will wait and see.
They really put her thru the mill.....then the poor thing had tumble bees later. We also did a Make up tumble bees today. The weather has turned cold here again, it was beautiful up un til today. I am still trying to catch up with the thank you cards and pics from the party so this will be short.........

Birthday Eve

Last Year at this time ......hard to believe how much she has grown. She had her check up and all is well.......Dr wants her to now go see a Bite specialist so if we get a referral approved we will be going there next. She got Chicken pox booster and Polio booster today......poor kid has me and mom's skin.....you wash it too much and it gets red,raw and cracked......so we are gonna try Eucerian to help her hands. We got portraits done ( yeah) I think we got some good ones......I was pleased we got in and out withen 1 hour......I should have a e-mail link to the pics in a couple of days. Well off to bed.

The Household theme

So tomorrow is Portrait day, I hope we are ready. Maddie had her hair cut Tuesday and she made it thru 2 days of pre school just fine, she also had OT today and is done with the testing part so now we work on skills. Kael went to school Tues, got sick at school weds so they sent him home and since he vomited he had to stay home 24 hours, so no school today either. The Dr office said no more dairy products until his stomach settles from the bug. Maddie has her 4 year old check up tomorrow, and Daddy is off so it will be just me and her for a change. We go to IN Saturday for youngest cousins B-day. Her Party is right on track and she is excited....hope to post pics soon.......I need to get Kael and Sage mouth shot......their teeth are coming in at the same time......LOL....its too funny.

The House of Yuck

So Tuesday night (Weds am ) Maddie woke up vomiting and never stopped, I mean all day. Finally around 5pm the nurse called me back and said since she had not kept any water down or peed get her to urgent care for fluids. Daddy took her and they gave her 2 bags and some anti nausea meds. She was weak but on the mend, no more throwing up. After cleaning everything and airing the house out we (stupidly) figured we were done. So Friday I fell down the stairs.....LOL.....slid on some papers I had put there earlier.......just bruised and sore. 3 hours later Kael is in the hall throwing up Hawaiian Punch. Finally get him, bed, and everything cleaned. Now here comes mine........Kael and I were sick and in bed all day. Sage has had a very mild case of it.....she was mostly cranky. I cleaned and did 6 loads of laundry Sunday. Kael is just weak, he stayed home today since he threw up a little sprite last night but when I called the school ( you have to call his school and tell them he will be absent ) they said half the school system is out with it. I am so glad I'm not planning her party or having it here at the house because I would be in a He** of a mess right now...LOL. She has 12 friends coming so she will have a blast, she wants a Hannah Montana Scooter......why Hannah Montana????? I'll have to see if there is even a pre school one???? So I'm just here to give a quick update, tons to catch up on.......just pray we are all over sickness since here comes the warm temps.
