Bless her heart she really is "diffrent"

So Sage ended up @ the Dr the next day, ear infection was still there but now both ears. She is on another antibiotic. As of today she is responding well but is having the side effects of this one bad ( bright red poop and yeasty looking diaper rash ). Maddie still croupy cough but took her to Dr today and both ears are clear, throat clear, lungs clear, it just seems to be post nasal drainage so no new meds ( THANK YOU GOD ). Kael is clearing his lungs out, 2 more days of the lower dosage of predasoine but his peak flow was 165 so whoo hoo. Finally got a full day w/o rain but it will be back tomorrow but bring on the rain and get rid of this pollen. We had OT Thursday and PT Friday, PT ( Mrs Betsy ) was amazed @ how well she has picked up everything but of course she now has Maddie going up stairs 1 foot on each stair but no holding the rails and that threw a big monkey wrench in it. She has classes for the next 2 weeks so no PT but she wants Maddie to work on kicking with left foot, balancing on one foot with no support and of course the stairs with no rail.

Hard to believe that in 2 weeks Maddie will have her pre school graduation ( where did the year go ?????) Sage is walking around the house pushing a stroller??? and we are down to less the 60 days before we move to Tornado Alley !!!!! I pulled a cake pan out tonight, said that's it I'm tired of taking up space but of course I balked, its a William Sonama that retails for $49.99 but was on clearance for $6, its little cars ( at the time Kael was all about Hot wheels ) and even though I have never ever made a "pretty" baked good I bought it and I tried to bake and the stuck and they were awful so back to today, before putting it in yard sale box I figure I will give it one more try......mmmmm no really I suck at this but there is no way you would ever be able to decorate these things even if they didn't stick or cook all the way through, so after it come out of the dish washer it will go to the yard sale pile, may some poor soul have better luck then I did. Now we move on to my commercial size deep fat fryer..............LOL, No really I have one .

You gotta love this look.....a dress with leggings, riding a bike with swim goggles on upside down and I'm pretty sure the shoes are on the wrong feet.....LOL, that's my Maddie

Update on Dr Appt

She agreed with me that its gotta be pollen so shes gonna redo the allergy test, just for trees and if it still comes back Neg she will then test the individual tree pollen. His flow was 130 when we got there ( last visit he was 170 ) so she gave him a Neb treatment and he blew a 150.....I now have a Peak flow meter and will have to test him am/pm, 3 times each and record the highest reading. She said the dose of predesoine the ER Dr gave us a prescrip for was for a 30lb boy, Kael is 46lb so she had to adjust that ( she said that was probably why he was at a flow of 130 ) We go back in 15 days for the testing. Sage was very cranky and sleepy during our appt, but it was hot so I figured maybe that was it but no shes running a temp, 101 when we got home, gave her Tylenol, at 8pm it was back up to 100.3......don't know what the deal is? Her top 2 teeth are coming in but I thought that was a old wives tale. Maddie has a croupy cough today but no other symptoms so maybe its just old drainage??? I hope....She has school tomorrow then OT, PT was pushed to Friday @4pm. Good Night All

And Our Saga continues

Did I forget to mention Maddie was put on another antibiotic Thursday?? Yes she had strep throat.....but she seems to be better....she had to go to OT/PT though......OT figures when we leave here she will no longer require OT just PT. PT is very nice lady named Betsy.....she feels Maddie is better then what the evaluation said but we need to work on the stairs, bending with our knees not our back and kicking with our left leg ( basically left leg is weakest even though its not her dominant leg it is still weaker then it should be for her age ).
So now Kael....We all of a sudden got tons of Pollen ( oak ) and Kael has been wheezing....had to start Nebu treatments yesterday @4pm.....did 4 before 1am with no signs of improvement so off to ER....got to ER Oxygen is 100% but alot of wheezing... He gets X ray ( they let us see them, he was in seventh heaven ) Doc says no pneumonia, but he thinks Bronchospasms ???? which means pollen or allergy induced asthma ....so predasoine .....I called his allergy/asthma Dr today and told them so we got in tomorrow ....hopefully she can tell us whats going on.... all the nurses were telling me their kids have the same thing....ummm thats not normal everyone in this state either has asthma, sinus problems or constant ear infections....poor baby next door 1 month older then Sage was at the pharmacy when we were, Her Daddy said its her 4th ear infection.....her brother who is 3 ( 4 in August) already has tubes.....this is a weird area...nobody is healthy.....even my MIL had issues until they moved back to Chicago but if they come to visit any of us she gets tight chest and stuffy nose..... I pray KS is diffrent. I'm so friggin tired and Maddie has school in the Am so I'm off......I'll post about our appt tomorrow.
