Ugh Heat

They loaded one truck.....not enough room so now some of our stuff was put on another truck, and will be put in storage until there is another truck heading west.....WTH ??? It has been Day but I am not gonna gripe just pray tomorrow is better....right??? That will make the moving Gods smile down on us, right????????? At the end Kael had snuck a can drink into the Living room and Miss Sage stuck her finger in the hole and Hello ER......We had to say goodbye to her birthplace.....right???? Shes ok .....no stiches just a bandage which she will not keep on its on the underside on her right pointer finger knuckle....Dr was happy she was already on antibotic for Ear infection so at least I had one blessing. Get carpet cleaned and get on road tomorrow hopefully into IL......gotta get to KS by Sunday afternoon to get inspect done.....Please keep those prayers up.....I need them......

Day 1

So 1 guy came and surveyed .....get a call 2 hours later from our coordinator, Terry, that packers will be here between 8-9 tomorrow I guess that means we got 3 days of packing .....by now we have constant headaches, I have a zillion pimples from stress, and so on......so if U call and I bite your head off please forgive me ( I don't think Brian has one left ). Whats funny is no matter what I would still be stressed, I could be doing my 100th move and have everything under complete control but still be stressed until we have this House done, Packed and cleaned and turned back over. And then of course I get a different kind of stress when we arrive in KS....LOL. Today's whopper....Kids ped office is charging me $50 for a copy of Our records.....people not in military does this really happen to you alot???????????? I am still in shock !!! Off to bed .....Kael has a tooth filling @10.

Pics from Kael's last day ice cream party.....he shared with Maddie ( Brian and Maddie went )

What is good for kids??? probably no theme right???? I'm still trying to get thru e-mails....so hopefully be back to blogging tomorrow with current pics....LOL.

Book List

I always hit The Happy Housewife on Thursday for her book list and all the other blogs who link with her to show their Book list. I always get great books that get read to the kids. Well I have stopped lurking and I am gonna post my own list of titles we are reading this week.

1) My Friend Jamal by Anna McQuinn/ Teaches young children about how friendship can transcend cultural differences.

2) Stand Tall Molly Lou Melon by Patty Lovell/ What happens when you look "different" and the school bully starts picking on you.

3) Saving Strawberry Farm by Deborah Hopkinson/ Set in the great depression it gives a look at what happens when friends and neighbors come together to save the farm.

4) All the places to Love by Patricia MacLachlan/ Great story about a Great old American Farm.

5) I'm your Peanut Butter Big Brother by Selina Alko/ Another book about appreciating our differences but the illustrations in this book are why I grabbed it off the shelf...just beautiful.

Well That's it I hope you enjoy it and hopefully next time I will know how to link the titles so you can actually see the books...still learning...LOL....

We will be off the Blog until Next Saturday....enjoy your week and don't forget about Fathers Day !!!!
